| Basis are hardware engines that puts QSC’s control, DSP and audio transport technologies together in a single unit. Operating under the QSControl.net platform these three distinct technologies provide enormous flexibility for applications like installation controller with expandable matrix mixer, amplifier/speaker/system controller, network audio router or network audio system event logger. All Basis processors have permanently allocated DSP: EQs, filters, crossovers, compressors, memories and room/speaker alignment delays.
DSP-4 and DSP-30 are two versions of the same great theme. One in a module that literally bolts to the back of an amplifier, the other in a 1RU chassis. Packed solid with processing power these DSP’s enable the laptop-armed audio engineer to configure and lock, via password protection, an amplifiers’ signal processing settings for a tour or installation. |
